Bear River Migratory Bird Reserve, Utah (USA) 2012

Doesn’t everyone dream of being a photographer? Surely I did, I think since I was six years old and using my first Praktica SLR camera. Eversince I have been taking pictures and cannot imagine a life without images – either shooting them myself or admiring those of others.

Over the last two decades I have been traveling quite a lot and during these trips I further developed my interest in outdoor photography. First I shot mainly landscapes, the last ten years, however, I got more and more interested in wildlife. My main interest is in marine mammals (when I can) and birds (on most days and locations). No wonder my library is filled with plenty of the latter.

My work has been published in many books, magazines (print and online) and calendars. Several nature reserves and visitors centers use some of my images for their explanatory boards. In 2015 I had my first international exhibition in the Bolinas Art Museum (California, USA).
