This morning the weather was a little weird, not clear whether it would be sunny of overcast. By lack of other or better ideas, I went to the beach – I hardly ever come back from our coastline disappointed. The tide was getting low, which is usually a good time to find Oystercatchers searching for food. With these black and white birds, exposure is always a thing. And since the weather kept changing from sunny to cloudy, I had to change camera settings all the time. The Catchers themselves however were busy as ever, giving me some nice moments to capture 🙂 .

Vanochtend was het een beetje raar weer, niet duidelijk of het nou zonnig of bewolkt zou worden. Bij gebrek aan betere ideeën, besloot ik naar het strand te gaan – daar kom ik namelijk eigenlijk nooit teleurgesteld van terug. Het was eb aan het worden, wat meestal wel een goede tijd is om foeragerende Scholeksters te zien. Met deze zwart-witte vogels is de belichting altijd een uitdaging. Zon en wolken wisselden elkaar continu af, waardoor ik voortdurend de camera instellingen moest aanpassen. De Schollies zelf waren bedrijvig als altijd, en zorgen daarmee voor een aantal leuke fotomomenten 🙂 .
