Last weekend we went to the most southern part of The Netherlands: Limburg. My personal goal was to find the Middle Spotted Woodpecker, which I had never seen. After spending two days and many hours in the forest, we finally found a couple. Difficult to shoot, I even managed to make a shot that is somewhere between an evidence shot and a nice photo. Anyway, I was very happy 😉 Weather was great, many birds and besides the forementioned Woodpecker is also could add the Yellowhammer to my life list!
