The last couple of days I tried to frame the Little Bittern (Woudaap), but hardly got a chance to see it. The one time if flew up, my camera didn’t focus in time 🙁 . Anyway, I spent some nice hours and evenings talking to other birders 😉 . Unexpectedly both yesterday and today I ran into some Bluethroats (Blauwborst) that were willing to pose, so that made up for the lost Bitterns.. You can always rely on these little friend 😉 . Also I got a tip from Remco to have a look at some juvenile Bearded Reedlings (Baarman), which I found, although they stayed quite far away.
As you can tell from both the Willow Warblers (Fitis) and the Bluethroats: feeding the little ones is taking it’s toll. They look rather worn out….Well, at least some shots the share after this long and warm weekend !

Toch weer een goede vangst hoor. De Blauwborst staat er lekker vrij op, net als de Fitis.
Jammer dat de juveniel baardmannen niet echt mee wilde werken, Moet ik dan toch weer mazzel hebben gehad? Toch 1tje kunnen platen die je mooi in zijn omgeving hier laat zien. Jammer van de rietstengel voor de baardman (m), houding is en blijft wel supergaaf bij die vogels.
Ik had vandaag weer beetje mazzel sorry met een Lepelaar.
Vanmorgen ook bij Woudaap geweest, maar enkele keer zien opvliegen daarna lange tijd laag in het riet, dus onvindbaar.
