Eerder deze week hadden we even een zonnige, rustige ochtend met bijna geen wind. Af en toe een buitje, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Ik besloot maar even naar de kust te gaan, het werk kon tenslotte nog wel even wachten. Het licht was prachtig, en op dat soort momenten kan ik extra genieten van het landschap. Zeker wanneer er verder helemaal geen mensen in de buurt zijn 🙂 . Dat laatste begint meer en meer een luxe te worden in het westen van het land. Maar goed, af en toe doet de situatie zich voor en dan is het natuurlijk extra leuk. Qua vogels was er weinig te beleven, maar een setje aalscholvers zorgden ervoor dat ik toch de camera nog even uit de rugzak kon halen. Kortom: de ochtend in alle stilte door kunnen  brengen. Heerlijk !

Earlier this week, we had a sunny morning, without any wind. Every now and then a small rain shower passed by, but not so much as to spoil things. I decided to visit the shore, as work could wait for  bit. The light was amazing, and in those moments I always enjoy the scenery even more than normal. Especially when there’s not another soul in sight :-). The latter has become more and more the exception here in the west of the country. But hey, every know and then the situation occurs, which then, of course, is to be appreciated all the more. Bird wise there was not much to see, but a couple of Cormorants made me take the camera out of my backpack for a moment. In short: I spent the morning in a nice and calm atmosphere. I love it !
