A while ago I posted a series of a male Great Spotted Woodpecker digging a hole, and somewhat later a short update, claiming that a female had been inspecting the nest. Aparantly the two fell in love, and now they have a baby 🙂 . Both the parents are flying of and on with food, while the little one screams for more. Sometimes it hangs out, sometimes it has to be lured with food to come out. I guess the pictures speak for themselves…. Circumstances are not ideal at the moment, lots of dark forest around the nest…
