Since these Great Crested Grebes (Fuut) live only a five minute walk from my front door, I visit them often if I have limited time, or just want to stretch my legs between work at the computer. There seem to be three of them this year, and I have the impression it hasn’t been decided yet which on them will make a pair. Yesterday I found one sleeping, and two fishing. Courting is nice, but a Grebe has to eat as well ! While lying on the ground next to the pond, I was able to make some shots while the Grebe was struggling with it’s prey 😉

Fraaie serie met prachtige kleuren en mooi licht. Wat een luxe……5 min. lopen vanaf je huis vandaan. Dan kan je nog eens mooie platen gaan schieten als ze echt de balts in hun kop hebben gekregen.
Wordt vast vervolgd..
