Last week I already tried my luck on the Kingfisher in Flevoland. Last weekend however I heard from a place in a nearby town “Zoetermeer”, where one had been spotted. The first time I went I didn’t see any Kingfisher, but was happy to see a Little Grebe, which appeared to have a nest on the opposite side of the pond. Yesterday at daybreak I went again, but again no luck. After a business meeting in the middle of the country, I decided to give it one more try. After waiting for a while, finally this wonderful bird showed up and even started fishing right in front of me 🙂
