Today I went back to the Red-necked Phalarope. I was there already last weekend, but wasn’t too happy with my pictures after all. Surprisingly enough this rare species (for this area) was still reported this morning. So I thought to give it another try when today’s rain had cleared. Although the wind was still very strong and the little fellow moved quickly, I managed to take many shots. The interesting part was that due to different backgrounds, alternating sun and clouds and the direction the Phalarope swam, all pictures have their own atmosphere…
