Close to my home (11 minute drive and 15 minute walk) a Great Grey Shrike has been spotted for some weeks now. Although the weather was sad and grey, I decided to give it a try. After some two hours (and watching Great Crested Grebes fishing and courting) I finally ran into the shrike. It proved quite restless, however some shots were possible.
