Last week we went for a short visit to the South of France. After having tasted nice champagne in the Champagne (Reims) we traveled onwards to the Ardeche, a district in Southern France, famous for the natural beauties (Gorges and rivers) and the enormous amounts of dutch tourists 😉 Knowing that at the end of August by temperatures of 38 degrees Celcius finding active birds would be difficult, we still tried to find some. We did not see a lot of activity and taking pictures proved even worse, but at least we found some as you can see. And we found a scorpion female with little babies on her back. Never seen anything like it before…. And hoping to never see them unprepared!
