Last week I received an ‘inside’ tip for a place where Long-eared Owls had been spotted.  So I untertook the journey, but unfortunately didn’t see any. Yesterday we went again, and after having searched for about 50 minutes, we finally found a tree with four of them ! Only one wasn’t obscured by leaves, but he was sleeping. Only at one point did he open one eye for some seconds.. I’m happy having seen them, but probably will go back again to try for better shots ;-). Also today and yesterday I was able making some better shots than I had of Siskins, Golden-eyes and Long-tailed Tits. Not too bad a result 😉
