Taking pictures in a forest has it’s own challenges. Especially the contrast between light and dark patches can be difficult to handle, of course mostly when the sun is shining. On the upside, if the subject is willing to position itself in the right spot, the light patches may work as a natural spotlight as well…. Some birds understand this better than others though 😉 .

Fotograferen in een bos kent zo zijn eigen uitdagingen. In het bijzonder is het soms lastig om te gaan met het contrast tussen lichte en donkere plekken, uiteraard voornamelijk wanneer de zon schijnt. Positief bekeken, biedt het ook kansen. Als je onderwerp meewerkt en op de juiste plek gaat zitten, dan kunnen de lichte plekken als een soort natuurlijke spotlight fungeren…. Sommige vogels snappen dit echter beter dan andere 😉 .
