Photo friend Remco invited a group of photographers for a trip around the Oostvaardersplassen – a large nature reserve in our most recent province, Flevoland. And I was among the lucky ones 🙂 . When leaving my home early this morning, the rain was pouring down like hell. And would stay like this for the rest of the day. In a 4×4 we went on a 3-hour tour in the area and for me the highlight was huge group of Koniks (Konikspaarden) – wild horses originally from Poland. Since the light was almost absent, and the colors likewise, I decided to process the shots in black and white – which gave the best results in this case. At least to my taste 😉 …

Ik denk dat je van ons 5-en toch wel de mooiste foto’s laat zien hier. De bwust gekozen Z/W berwerking pakt heel goed uit bij deze opnames. Ik heb echt niet opgelet bij de Konikpaarden. Ik had alleen maar foto’s van vechtende Koniks van ver af.
Het was een onvergetelijke ochtend tijdens slechte weersomstandigheden. Deze unieke ervaring pakt niemand meer van ons af en bedankt voor je deelname en kofffie!!
