This morning I drove out early to the eastern part of The Netherlands. Aim was to spend a nice day with a friend in a hide. While catching up on each other’s life, we planned taking some shots as well. It turned out to be a pleasant day, with lost of laughs, and – not totally unimportant- 19 species of birds that came for a drink at the pond. The Crested Tit was among the first. Restless little birds by nature. But, as they freshened up for the day, we had some shooting possibilities, which we gladly used. More to come 😉 ….

Vanochtend in alle vroegte naar het oosten van Nederland gereden. Doel was om een gezellig dag met een vriend in een hut te hebben. Het idee was om weer eens lekker bij te praten en ondertussen nog wat te fotograferen ook. Het werd een alleraardigste dag, veel gelachen en – niet onbelangrijk – er verschenen zo’n 19 soorten voor de hut om te komen drinken. De Kuifmees was als één van de eerste present. Van nature een onrustig beestje. Maar, terwijl ze zich opfristen voor de dag, hadden wij wat fotokansen, die we maar al te graag benutten. Later meer 😉 ….
