Eurasian Nuthatch | Boomklever
Eurasian Nuthatch | Boomklever

Today I spent some time in the forest. The Nuthatch (Boomklever) made it’s appearance again. I like this bird a lot, because of it’s wonderful colors and poses. Of course, best known is the typical upside down pose. Today I learned that before flying off, the bird more or less lowers itself and then pushes itself from the branch… In another pose (vertical frame) it seems to imitate a woodpecker.. Strange moments.. 😉
