A while ago Remco, Marco and me planned a day for hide-photography. Something you have to plan, since the hide is often booked and it’s quite a distance by car, even in a small country like The Netherlands. No guarantees however for the weather – and (credit to me!) we picked the worst day in two weeks time. Heavily overcast skies and rain. No special species showed up. So what was left, was shooting with high ISO’s, slow shutter speeds and framing only ‘normal’ species. Well, and we had a nice time of course – as it’s usually the case when you hook up with fellow-photographers. On our way back to Den Haag, we also made a stop at the Northern Hawk Owl…In the rain 🙁 .

Ondanks de regen toch nog mooie platen va de Kuifmees o.a. Het geeft toch ook wel weer een apart sfeertje met regen.
