Yesterday I got the chance to make some nice ‘autumn’ shots of a Tawny Owl (Bosuil) securely sitting in its resting place – a nesting hole in an Oak tree. The traditional place to look for this kind of owls. Another similar place I visited several times over the last year, never resulted in good shots – but this time I was really lucky. Well lucky, of course photo friend Remco was kind enough to tell me where to find this wonderful bird – thanks a lot!

  1. Hey Hans,

Hele mooie shots van deze prachtige Bosuil. Mooi in herfstachtige sfeer. Ik ben toch wel het meest gefascineerd van foto 1…zonder de andere niet tekort te doen.

    Gr,

  2. Wonderful sighting Hans, and excellent photographic results from the opportunity :^)

  3. And I completely agree with what Remco said, although of course that’s easy for him to say and it’s all Dutch to me – LOL ;^)

Wishing you both a wonderful weekend :^)
