Last week I bought a new teleconverter, the Nikon TC20E-III, supposed to be better than my old TC17E-II… The weather was not that good last week and I had work to do as well, so yesterday after finishing up I went out. The results seem to be satisfying sofar, but a lot of fieldwork has to be done still 😉
Anyway, I found a rare species: the Little Bittern, not very common around here (not to say: rare!) and since it’s the mating season, the male has a distinct red bill-tip, which makes them slightly easier to see. I should go back however for better shots I’m afraid…
