Bohemian Waxwing enjoying the Dutch berries

The weather forecast predicted nice and sunny skies. When I left home, the sky was all blue and sunny indeed. The closer to the Waxwings I got however, the more overcast the sky became ๐Ÿ™ . I spent quite some time with the Waxwings (and some fifteen other photographers for that matter) in a cold and foggy environment. This allowed for technically no better shots than yesterday – however the birds did their best. The visited all places (trees, bushes, parks, streets, houses) they could think of. Alas, most shots suffer from ISO’s that are simply too high. Still it was lots of fun watching the birds and ‘normal people’ passing by, wondering what all these weirdo’s with their long lenses were looking at ๐Ÿ™‚ . Not sure if I will have another chance this year, but who knows how long they will hang around ?
